The former Tottenham midfielder Jamie Redknapp believes that Ange Postocloou is at the time borrowed after the Spurs were beaten 1-0 by Chelsea on Thursday evening.
Enzo Fernandez scored the only goal in the match while Tottenham slipped to his sixteenth defeat of the season of the season to stay 14th in the Premier League table.
Spurs still have a chance to put an end to their expectations of 17 years for silverware after reaching the quarterfinals of the Europa League, and Redknapp thinks that European glory could save the postcoglou, but he insists that their cutting race should not put paper on the cracks after a lamentable league campaign.
“If they weren’t yet in Europe, I don’t think he would still be the manager,” Redknapp told Sky Sports. “They were so poor.
“He knows the price of the ticket. You don’t lose 16 games in a club like Tottenham. Yes, they had injuries but it is not good enough.
“He must win the cup. If they gain the cup, they create history. If they do not win it, they will be in history. It’s all or nothing for Angel Postcoglou. They are able because they have the players to do it, but they need the mind.

The Spurs delivered another poor performance Thursday when they slipped to a 1-0 defeat in Chelsea
Postcoglou was mocked by itinerant fans when he replaced Lucas Bergvall and Wilson Odobert by Pape Matar Sarr and Brennan Johnson just after the brand at Stamford Bridge.
He was then seen in the process of putting his ear towards the supporters when Sarr scored shortly after, only for the objective to be prohibited for a fault in the accumulation.
Redknapp colleague Gary Cahill admitted that he was “disconcerted” by the postocoou tactic, but conceded that winning a trophy would change the mood of the Spurs.
“Their season can be saved massively,” said Cahill. “They are probably looking forward to the Premier League season to be over. The Europa League is a distraction. It will save their season (if they win).
“Tottenham, I was disconcerted by their tactic and how they tried to play. Chelsea, you can see a method.
