Jamie Carragher labeled an arsenal star as an “absolute revelation” after his resumption of performance in the second half of the campaign.
The player in question was signed by the Gunners last summer for costs of 33 million pounds sterling in a decision that raised the eyebrows of certain districts.
He had fought for consistency after a move from the Laliga Side Sociedad – not making an instant impact.
This was due to the fact that Mikel Arteta chose not to sign an attacker in a decision that cost him a lot in the race for the title of the Premier League after injuries in Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus.
However, he has experienced a much better half of the campaign since he was deployed as an assistant to their absences.
His improved projections on the field saw him compared to Havertz by Carragher before the Arsenal match against Crystal Palace on Wednesday evening.

The former defender of Liverpool admits that he thought that the Gunners had “bought the bad type of player”
The former Liverpool defender distinguished Mikel Merino for having been able to overthrow his fortune so impressive during his first campaign in northern London.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Carragher said: “It is a similar profile in Havertz, Merino. Physically, it gives you sets, crashing into the box, shopping.
“He was great. I watched it a little at the start of the season and wondered if they had brought the bad guy.
“ There can always be an argument for that in that Arsenal still lacks a little creativity, but when you look at what the boy did since Havertz was injured, he was an absolute reserve.
“You would be reluctant to remove this role if you were Arteta.
Carragher’s comments came with Merino absent from the team chosen by Mikel Arteta for their match against the Eagles.
Merino played a central role in the arsenal race at the semi-finals of the Champions League while filling a makeshift attacker.
