Jamie Carragher drinks a pint with Borussia Dortmund fans and he’s all football fans when his beer arrives

Jamie Carragher was living his best life on Wednesday at Signal Iduna Park in Germany.

The Liverpool legend is usually in the CBS studios on Champions League nights alongside Kate Abdo, Micah Richards and Thierry Henry.

However, he was given a rare away day as he was sent to Germany to cover the semi-final between Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain – which is live on talkSPORT.

Carragher wasted no time getting involved in the local culture, which included drinking pints with Dortmund fans.

He said: “We are at Signal Iduna Park with the Dortmund fans. They absolutely adore me!

“Let’s take a photo… and I’ll have a pint to cool down, to calm my nerves before the big game.”

He was all football fans when his beer came and tried to cut it down. In all honesty, we’re a little jealous.

Carragher was replaced in the studio by the legend that is Alessandro Del Piero.

During their report on Tuesday evening, Abdo revealed who it would be: “Who will replace Jamie Carragher in the studio? Find out after the break.”

“Whoever it is, they won’t be better than me,” Carragher said with a cheeky smile.

After the break he asked who would replace him and Abdo replied: “Everyone, latest news, (Alessandro) Del Piero for Carragher tomorrow.”
