After the NFL owners voted to allow active players to participate in the 2028 Olympic Games, Justin Jefferson called him “a dream“To potentially win a gold medal in flag football.
But one of his LSU College teammates is not so sure.
On Tuesday, Ja’marr Chase told journalists that he needed more information to find out if he would like to be part of the Olympic Games in a few years.
“”I don’t know“Said Chase, via Russ Heltman from Si.com.” I want to know the timing for us, off -season, in season. I want to know if we are paid. I want to know where we are traveling every two weeks or every day, like everything that plays a role, because we have an offseason, we have a life. How long would it be? I don’t know. There are a lot of questions.
“I think it’s pretty cool, but I’m not really 100%yet.”
Chase also thinks of current football players, like Darrell “House” Doucette, who noted that he and his peers should not be simply sidewall on the side.
“We take their love for the game and denigrate it with our love of the game,” said Chase. “Now we take off their love for the game and we kill them. It’s a lot, my brother, I think it’s cool, but I don’t know if I’m 100% on this.”
Football flag at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games should take place from July 14 to 21, which is before Most training camps open.
