Jalen Hurts Injures Knee During Eagles-Rams Playoff Game

With just a few minutes left in the third quarter Sunday against the Rams, Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts took a huge hit that bent him backwards and immediately caused him to grab his left knee in pain intense.

Hurts eventually completed the drive, but then went to the blue medical tent after leaving the field.

Hurts was sacked five times in three quarters and was already hurting even before halftime. This is a guy who will play whatever he can, and returned to the game with a knee brace after being checked out – then immediately grabbed another bag for safety reasons.

Kenny Pickett is back as QB2 after being able to recover a bit from his broken ribs, and Tanner McKee is the inactive emergency quarterback if needed.

Hopefully Hurts can avoid any further issues in the fourth quarter, and his knee injury isn’t really serious.
