The Eagles are headed to the NFC Championship Game and the days leading up to the game will be filled with plenty of talk about Jalen Hurts’ knee.
Hurts went to the medical tent after injuring his left knee early in the second half, but the quarterback returned without missing an offensive snap in the Eagles’ 28-22 victory. Hurts, who opened the scoring with a 44-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, appeared to be affected by the injury after returning to the game, but he didn’t say much about the nature of the injury when NBC’s Melissa Stark request. how much it bothered him after the match.
“I finished the game,” Hurts said.
He didn’t have much to say when asked what impact he thought the injury would have on his preparation for commanders.
“I’m sure I’ll be asked about this later,” Hurts said. “I don’t know if I can answer that right now. But I’m going to enjoy this victory with my teammates.
There will be plenty more to come on the condition of Hurts in postgame press conferences and press briefings throughout the week.
