Jake Paul would have approached a return to boxing after the collapse of his early fight against Canelo Alvarez.
The social media star had become the Boxer Paul last time in November of last year, when he beat Mike Tyson in a fight that saw the 28 -year -old refusing to bring down a 30 -year -old elder man.
He has been linked to various episodes since, from Namesis KSI in the long term to the former opponent Tommy Fury – the only man to have beaten him – but he got closer to walking in the ring with Canelo.
In February, it was confirmed that the Mexican superstar had agreed with an agreement of four combinations with the Riyadh season in Saudi Arabia, with its new agreement to include a mega-combat against the former light champion and Welter weight, Terence Crawford, in September.
Previously, it was understood that Alvarez and Paul were about to finalize their cross -fighting, but the Mexican will now face William Scull in May instead.
Paul was unleashed following the revelation of the Canelo agreement, but it is now reported that he could be ready to face his American compatriot Gervonta Davis in the near future.
A future opponent of Jake Paul has been teasing as he approaches a return to the boxing ring
Paul had been in talks to fight Canelo Alvarez before signing a fight with the Riyadh season
He was by the ring in Brooklyn to watch Gervonta Davis confront Lamont Roach last month
Paul’s most precious promotions partner Nakisa Bidarian said he was trying to fight twice in 2025 and three times next year
“ Reality is that we have spent a lot of time with Al Hayman and PBC trying to ensure that Canelo’s fight happens and we want to support what they do in its own right, ” said Nakisa Bidarian, the most precious promotions partner, Nakisa Bidarian. “Gervonta Davis, other than Jake Paul, is the only star in the American box office.
“Gervonta called Jake a clown several times and said he could beat him with a hand tied behind his back.
“So, it’s not like guys are massive fans of each other, but they also have respect and understand that the two are the autonomous genre of massive fighters from the United States.”
Paul and Bidarian were by the ring in Brooklyn last month to watch Davis face Lamont Roach – a fight that ended with a controversial draw.
Davis took a knee in the ninth round after complaining about having something in his eyes, but the referee did not mark the incident as a knockdown.
The star has 30 victories of 31 fights, but Paul could face the wait to take him while he is preparing for a revenge match with Roach and Paul is preparing to announce two fights for this year.
Bidarian added: “We are actively working on the fight against Jake’s fight for this summer. And we will announce it as soon as we are ready.
“And then we are actively working to find Jake’s next fight – call it from October to December.
“The plan is therefore for Jake to fight twice in 2025 and two to three times in 2026.”
