Former super middleweight champion Froch, who has already been called out by Fury Sr, is not a fan of Father Fury’s antics.

“He (John Fury) crossed the line,” Froch told Online Slots Real Money.

“But now we’re trying to take on John Fury. He was going after me before. He called me and said he’d kick my ass and slap me.

“It’s a little grating what he’s saying. A lot of it is also a little close to the bone. It’s bordering on absurd and crude. I’m thinking, ‘come on John, think about it what you are going to say before you say it.’ .’

“The fighter not fighting has caused problems. I’m not surprised, he was told to calm down and stay away while the build-up to this.

What is an undisputed world champion?

In boxing, an undisputed world champion is someone who wins all four major world title belts in their division – WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO.

Fury currently owns the WBC while Usyk holds the WBA, IBF and WBO. Therefore, the winner will hold all four belts as the undisputed king.

The last man to hold all the belts in the division was Lennox Lewis when he defeated Evander Holyfield to add his WBA and IBF titles to the WBC belt before what is now known as the “four belt era” , the WBO being recognized from 2004. .

The comparisons to Paul are unsurprising given that the influencer has made waves in the sport for his brash personality and entertaining stunts to promote his fights.

Froch and Paul even exchanged verbal barbs, with the former George Groves conqueror even vowing to break retirement and end the “problem child’s” career.

John Fury threatens to headbutt Tony Bellew after altercation with member of Oleksandr Usyk’s team ahead of massive Tyson Fury fight

Fury Sr has a history of wild confrontations during his son’s fights, including when he took on KSI and threw punches into a cage during his son Tommy’s showdown with the YouTuber.

He has also threatened to continue his physical altercations against former world champion Tony Bellew, and may well threaten to do the same to “The Cobra” if they cross paths.

The Sheffield native had also previously targeted the WBC champion for his boxing CV, which left a bitter taste in Fury Sr’s mouth.

But undefeated Fury will once again look to prove the critics wrong and has put himself in superb form for this historic outing.

A victory will see him become the first undisputed world heavyweight champion in the four-belt era and the first to achieve the feat since Lennox Lewis in 1999.

Fury has changed his stance regarding Usyk’s test, having now acknowledged the achievements of his fellow undefeated champion.

He told Box Nation: “I consider Usyk the best man I’ve ever fought.

“Better than Wladimir Klitschko, better than Deontay Wilder, better than everyone. Double world champion in both weights and Olympic gold medalist.

“I was very impressed with everything he did. He beheaded Anthony Joshua, who was supposed to be a killer.

“He did a good job with everyone he fought with.”
