Jake Paul has gotten into the habit of crafting new titles on a daily basis, and his unique skill set was on full display against Tommy Fury this week.
YouTuber Paul will put his undefeated boxing record and reputation on the line against Gypsy King’s younger brother Tyson on December 18 in Florida.
The 24-year-old made his first foray into the fighting world with a knockout victory over KSI’s younger brother Deji in an amateur boxing bout in 2018.
Since then, Paul has managed to get under the skin of almost every notable name in the game, but what has been said? talkSPORT.com has the details …
The 50-0 legend faced Logan Paul at a boxing show, but it was Jake who rocked the 44-year-old cage the most.
During the press conference for the fight, Jake and Mayweather clashed before Jake said “I have your hat!” and flees with Mayweather’s kit.
He didn’t get far and a full brawl ensued behind the scenes, with Money even hearing that he would “kill” Paul for his stunt.
The youngster then hinted that Mayweather was planning to follow through on his threat during an episode of the NELK Boys’ FULL SEND podcast.
“He was trying to get me killed backstage, for sure,” Jake said.
“He called, like, ‘the gangsters,’ because we were in Miami at the time. He called the “street people” because my security is wired to the street people.
“They were like, ‘Yo, you gotta be f ** king careful. He’s trying to do something, ”he continued. “So whatever f ** k that meant, or means.” … I was like, ‘Okay, if this is how I die, this is how I die.’ “
The WBC champion flip-flopped on his opinion of Jake following the news of the latter’s fight with his brother Tommy.
Asked what Paul brought to boxing, Tyson replied, “He really didn’t do anything. I’m waiting for this master of sales to do something.
Paul responded by referring to Tyson’s earlier comments praising his work in the sport before Tyson delivered the killer line.
Tyson said, “That was a few months ago, now I think you’re aw *****.”
Tyson and Tommy’s father also exchanged several shocking insults with Paul during Wednesday’s spirited press conference.
The couple traded beards, with the YouTuber claiming that Fury Sr lives off his son’s accomplishments, calling him a “nobody” and telling him to “suck my cock”.
Fury retaliated with taunts that he would “beat the shit” if he ever went to America and “didn’t have any ads to suck.”
He also said: “You can thank your lucky stars, I am banned from your country, because I understand you, I will slap you.…
“You wouldn’t be man enough to stand in my presence… I would put you on my knees and spank you like a five year old.”
Jake Paul had to work hard to get something Notorious.
First, he unsuccessfully called the UFC star before he edited a controversial video in which he insulted McGregor’s fiancee Dee Devlin and claimed to have proof of funds for $ 50 million to attempt the Irish to fight.
When this elicited no response, he filmed a follow-up in which he mocked the two-weight champion’s training partner, Dylan Moran.
He then hired a plane to fly a banner over Miami Beach that simply read, “Conor McGregor is afraid of Jake Paul.”
McGregor was ultimately asked about the campaign ahead of his second fight with Dustin Poirier in January.
“You know, that’s what it is,” he said, before avoiding using his name.
“We’ll see what happens, he seems like a confused little kid, to be honest.
“He’s ready to go in there, I don’t know what’s going to happen, it’s not on the radar by the minute with the young boy.
“I know I have a teammate [Dylan Moran] – he and Dylan have been back and forth, so you never know.
Paul rekindled the feud this month by saying, “I think this fight will definitely happen in the next 36/48 months. It makes financial sense.
“I don’t have a message for Conor. At this point, he needs me more than I need him.
“He’s a fucking loser, a drunken motherfucker running around doing all this crazy bullshit.”
“The guy is a mess, so like I said – he needs me more than I need him.”
In the wake of Jake Paul’s crusade to fight McGregor comes his troubles with UFC President Dana White.
When there was some joke that two-time UFC champion Amanda Nunes could fight him, Paul’s response was “nobody knows who she is.”
White said he was “I think I’ll let Amanda Nunes knock her ass out” and that the Brazilian would put Paul in a coma.
Paul revealed this summer that he believed his feud with the 52-year-old would end when he knocked out the UFC president.
He also donned a bald cap, a black UFC t-shirt, and a green workout jacket when he went White for Halloween last month.
White responded to Paul’s claims and joked that he was in the right age group for a fight with the former Vine star.
“It makes sense,” White told MMA Junkie at the UFC during the ESPN 30 post-fight press conference.
“I am 52 years old. I’m in the age range of guys he fights, so yeah, I could see him wanting to fight me. All he’s fighting are 50-year-olds.
“Let me tell you what,” White said. “Line up. There are plenty of people who would like to attack me. Line up. It’s a long line, mate. You’re going to wait a while.
” No, it does not disturb me. This is the case we are in. I say that all the time about fighters too. We are not in the business of the good guys. This is a very nasty business. I say a lot of mean things about people too. It’s just a part of this game. It’s perfect. “
The Mexican icon has been against Jake and his brother Logan from the start, insisting they disrespect the sport of boxing.
The feud reached new heights when fans – wearing the faces of Jake and Ben Askren on their shirts – invaded the ring after Alvarez’s victory over Avni Yildirim.
Canelo’s reaction was harsh and swift when he told them to “get the fuck out”.
Paul commented on the incident a few days later, suggesting that the champion is apparently an old hater.
