Jadon Sancho doesn’t want Manchester United to return despite talks with club and Erik ten Hag uncertainty

Jadon Sancho does not want to play for Manchester United next season even if Erik ten Hag is sacked, according to our talkSPORT information.

Sancho has held tentative discussions about his future with members of the Red Devils hierarchy after being banned by Ten Hag for accusing the Dutchman on social media of scapegoating him.

He has been on loan to his former club Borussia Dortmund since January and is signed until the end of the season.

The Bundesliga club are also keen to bring Sancho back on loan for the 2024/25 campaign, with three goals and two assists in 17 games.

This includes an outstanding performance against Paris Saint-Germain in his team’s 1-0 win in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final first leg.

Sancho and Ten Hag fell out publicly at the start of the campaign after the Man United boss said the former England international was not in the squad for the Arsenal clash in September due to “his performances in training”.

The 24-year-old later hit back at his manager on social media, writing: “I won’t allow people to say completely untrue things, I performed very well in training this week… I been a scapegoat. for a long time, which is not fair!”

Sancho was then forced to train away from the first team and entered a break before his exit in the January transfer window.

The winger has two years remaining on his current contract with Man United.

Meanwhile, Ten Hag’s future at the club also remains uncertain, as he is linked with Bayern Munich and it is suggested that new co-owners, INEOS, will want a change in the squad.

Speaking about resolving their differences from earlier in the season, Ten Hag said: “There was a conflict and let’s finish the season first, so let’s stay away from that problem, now it’s not important .

“He’s got the semi-final comeback, in the league it’s not going so well for them and we’ve got four important games in the league and the FA Cup final and then we’ll see.”

Amid the noise surrounding the respective futures of Sancho and Ten Hag, the Red Devils will turn their attention to Monday night’s clash against Crystal Palace, live and exclusive on talkSPORT.
