Declan Rice is certainly no slouch as he showed in West Ham’s Europa League victory over Dinamo Zagreb.
In fact, Jack Grealish thinks the creators of FIFA 22 got the note wrong when it comes to pacing.
Rice displayed brilliant athleticism and poise in the Hammers’ victory on Thursday night, intercepting the ball in his own half before running into the left channel and making it home with his left ankle.
The 2-0 victory earned West Ham much praise across the continent, with talkSPORT’s Matt Holland calling it a “perfect performance”.

But Grealish’s praise was especially reserved for Rice, insisting that his England teammate deserves a pace rating above 66.
“I told you Declan Rice – you should be above 66 beat on FIFA,” he wrote on Twitter, including the handle from EA Sports in the tweet.
Rice had previously complained about his speed rating while on international duty with Grealish earlier this month.
After seeing his FIFA 22 card for the video game, Grealish told Rice on the UK official media channel: “You know what’s just crazy – your pace, man.”
Rice replied, “I’m not slow, that’s the thing. Man, I’m just convinced that [the game creators] just sit in front of their computer and they get bored writing a thousand players. He’s only 60, he’s 70. Ended.”
Grealish’s speed rating is 80, the Man City man has a passing rating of 84. Rice’s passing rating is 82.
Like Rice, Grealish has also scored in European action this week, scoring City’s 6-3 win over RB Leipzig on Wednesday night in the Champions League.
