J.Lo Calls Twins Emme and Max ‘Her Whole Heart’ in Rare Post

As Jennifer Lopez settles back into New York City after an extended stay in the Hamptons, she’s reminiscing about her favorite memories with her favorite people. With rumors swirling that the “On the Floor” singer and husband Ben Affleck are trying to work out some issues in their marriage, Lopez seemed grateful for her support system as she shared a carousel of images dedicated to her children. The star shared rare photos of her 16-year-old twins, Emme and Max, now adults, as well as a throwback photo of them as toddlers.

“With all my heart 💚🤍,” Lopez sweetly captioned the Instagram carousel she shared on Sunday, July 28. In the first photo, which appeared to be taken at her 55th birthday celebrations in the Hamptons sans Affleck, the multi-singer could be seen rocking the green and white printed shirt dress paired with a waist-cinching white leather belt and a sleek ponytail that she donned for a bike ride with her son on his birthday, July 24. The sweet mother-son photo showed a beaming Lopez smiling at her teenage son, who was wearing a white pajama-style set with “Max” emblazoned on the front pocket.

The singer gave fans a glimpse into her relationship with Emme in a second photo, which appears to show Lopez with her mini-me during a trip to Paris she took with the twins back in May. In the selfie, J.Lo wore oversized sunglasses, a messy bun and a white tee, while Emme opted for a street style look in a mint striped button-down shirt, a pair of black headphones and black hoop earrings. Lopez was clearly sentimental back when her twins were toddlers, as she shared a third and final photo of the pair as toddlers.

Lopez previously spoke about the “unconditional love” she has for her children, whom she shares with ex Marc Anthony, in 2020. “I know everyone feels that way about their kids, but I just feel like they’re super special,” she said. People“I can’t wait to see what they do.”

However, the star admitted she found raising teenagers a little more “challenging”, especially with her and Affleck’s blended family.

“Adolescence is hard,” she said in a 2023 interview on Live with Kelly and Mark“It’s a challenge. You have this baby for a while, and then it’s like your best boyfriend loves to be with you all the time, and then all of a sudden it’s like, ‘Get out of my room.'”

She added: “They question everything you say, everything you do and everything you are, and that’s what it’s about. You have to kind of ride the waves.”
