ITV has been hit by a wave of Ofcom complaints after Rageh Omaar was struck down by a mystery illness while presenting News at Ten.
Viewers noticed the anchor was shaking and struggling to get his words out while presenting the late news on Friday.
He caused concern as he appeared to be in pain while trying to read the automatic signal, while his left eye appeared to droop.
Since the incident, 73 complaints have been made to broadcasting regulator Ofcom, with many believing the presenter should not have been allowed to continue.
ITV later revealed Mr Omaar was receiving medical treatment and bosses claimed they tried to take him off air, but he insisted on finishing the show.
An Ofcom spokesperson explained to GB News the nature of the complaints, saying: “The complaints have raised concerns about the health of Rageh Omaar during this broadcast.”
