The Israeli army bombed the Lebanese capital, Beirut, for the second time in less than a week, killing at least three people and threatening the ceasefire, he agreed with Hezbollah four months ago.
The attack on the southern suburbs of Dahiyeh Beirut, early Tuesday, came without warning and injured at least seven other people, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
The Israeli army said in a statement that he had targeted a member of Hezbollah who had helped the Palestinian group Hamas to plan an imminent attack on Israeli civilians. He did not propose any evidence.
There was no immediate comment from Hezbollah.
Lebanon president Joseph Aoun condemned the last assault, calling him “dangerous precursor” of Israel’s intentions against his country.
“The persistence of Israel in its aggression requires more efforts from us to attack the friends of Lebanon around the world and to bring them together to support our right to full sovereignty on our land,” Aoun said in a statement.
Videos of the consequences of bombing showed plumes of smoke rising above Dahiyeh.
They also showed damage to the first three floors of an apartment building and lots of debris covering cars under the structure.

The resul Serdar of Al Jazeera, reporting from Beirut, said that rescue operations continued in Dahiyeh and that there was no information from Israel or Lebanon on the identity of targeted and killed persons.
Serdar said that the last attack was “extremely worrying” for the Lebanese government because it comes only three days after Israeli forces bombed Beirut for the first time since the ceasefire with Hezbollah in November.
This agreement, guaranteed by France and the United States, has arrested a one-year conflict and forced to withdraw from Israeli land troops in southern Lebanon.
He also called Hezbollah fighters to withdraw from the south, beyond the Litani river and the United Nations designated by the temporary border, the Blue Line and that Lebanese troops are deployed there.
However, the two parties accused each other of violations.
Israel delayed a promised withdrawal of troops in January and continued to occupy several hills summits in southern Lebanon. He also led almost daily attacks against the country, saying that he was hitting Hezbollah fighters and weapons.
Friday, his soldier launched the attack on Beirut saying that the raid was in response to the rockets taken from Lebanon.
Hezbollah denied any involvement in rocket fire.
Al Jazeera’s serdar said that there were key differences between the two Israeli assaults on Friday and Tuesday.
“The Israelis say that the one who occurred on March 28 was in retaliation for rockets drawn from the Lebanese side, but this time there was no rocket fire,” he said.
“The question is therefore now that Will Israel continues to attack the country’s capital?” He asked. “People in Beirut are extremely worried. They say that peace here is really fragile and that very small development could collapse the ceasefire and trigger another war. ”
Hezbollah chief Sheikh Naim Qassem warned on Saturday that if Israel’s attacks on Lebanon were continuing and if the Government of Lebanon does not act to arrest them, the group would end up using other alternatives.
Analysts have accused the United States for the continuous attacks of Israel against Lebanon.
Phyllis Bennis, a member of the Institute for Policy Studies, told Al Jazeera that the Trump administration has actually had attacks by Israel in green light, not only against Lebanon, but also on Syria and the Palestinian territory occupied.
“There is no doubt that the Trump administration clearly said that they would not criticize Israel. They will not stop sending the weapons that will allow him to continue these attacks,” said Bennis since Washington, DC.
“What we see now is really an extension of the genocidal war that Israel made in Gaza, Lebanon, where they not only carried out the attacks in the capital, but extended the old UN buffer zone,” she said.
Israel has now “unilaterally collapsed the ceasefire” in Lebanon, but France and the United States-the guarantors of the agreement-fell and left Israeli aggressions to continue, without taking any punitive measure, she added.
