The exes officially married in 2010, but met at a party in 2001 before getting engaged in 2004. In a 2020 interview with The New York Times, Cohen said he “knew instantly” after meeting her. “She was hilarious,” he exclaimed. “We were at a very pretentious party, and she and I bonded over the idea of pissing off the other people at the party.”

The two have kept their relationship and family life quite private, however, in a 2022 interview, Fisher opened up about their relationship. “I don’t want to stand on a platform and advise anyone: If you marry someone you have a really good friendship with, everything else seems to fall into place,” she told E! . “You always get butterflies in your stomach and people tell you it goes away after a few years. But when you’re with the right person, in reality, that’s just not the case.”
