Is ‘The Fabelmans’ streaming on HBO Max or Netflix?

With an all-star cast including Michelle Williams, Paul Dano and Seth Rogan, it won’t be long before you can step out to watch The Fabelmans – a Thanksgiving treat, indeed.
Directed by Steven Spielberg, this coming-of-age drama, which is loosely based on the director’s younger years, follows Sammy Fabelman (Gabriel LaBelle) from age seven to 18 as he aspires to be a filmmaker while coping dysfunction within his family.

From now on the only way to watch The Fabelmans is set to hit theaters when it releases on Wednesday, November 23. You can find a local screening on Fandango. Otherwise, you’ll just have to wait for it to be available to rent or buy on digital platforms like Vudu, Apple, YouTube, and Amazon or for it to be available to stream on Peacock. WHEN THE FABELMANS STREAMING?
Since The Fabelmans is distributed by Universal Pictures, it will likely arrive on NBCUniversal-owned streaming service Peacock around 45 days after release, which means we could be watching from the comfort of our homes by mid-January through the end of January. However, other movies like Nope took a bit longer to reach the streamer (over 100 days to be exact) so it’s best to take this estimate with a grain of salt.
WILL BE THE FABELMANS BE ON HBO MAX?
Nope, The Fabelmans won’t be on HBO Max because it’s not a Warner Bros. movie. Last year, the company released its films on HBO Max and in theaters on the same day. However, they now allow a 45-day window between theatrical release and streaming release.
WILL BE THE FABELMANS BE ON NETFLIX?
Nope, The Fabelmans won’t be on Netflix – at least not anytime soon. In the meantime, you’ll just have to head to a movie theater or wait for it to be available to stream on Peacock.
