Captain Marvel may not be reuniting alongside the Avengers for much longer.
Brie Larson, who plays the superhero (aka Carol Dangers) in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, recently indicated that her time with the franchise is coming to an end. At Disney’s D23 Expo, the actress seemed unsure when asked how long she thinks she’ll be playing Captain Marvel in the MCU, indicating that internet trolls don’t want her back.
“I don’t know, I don’t know” larson said Variety September 10. “Does anyone want me to do it again? I don’t know. I really don’t know. I don’t have the answer to that.”
The Bedroom the actress was at the convention to preview her upcoming MCU entry, 2023 Wondersnext to Iman Vellaniwho plays Ms. Marvel, and Teyonah Paris, who plays Monica Rambeau. Just a day later, the Oscar-winning actress referenced online detractors, posting a photo of the cast alongside Wonders director Nia Da Costa.
