Dubai, the United Arab Emirates – Sensitive Israeli documents obtained by Tehran should soon be unveiled, said the Minister of Intelligence, Esmail Khatib, on state television on Sunday, describing them as a “treasure” which will strengthen the offensive capacities of Iran.
Iranian state media reported On Saturday, that Iranian intelligence agencies had obtained a large mine of sensitive Israeli documents, without any evidence in support of complaints. Khatib said they were linked to Israel’s nuclear installations and its relations with the United States, Europe and other countries, and its defensive capacities.
There was no immediate official comments from Israel.
It was not clear if the information violation was linked to a reported hacking of an Israeli nuclear research center last year, which Tehran only disclosed in the middle of increased tensions on its nuclear program.
“The transfer of this treasure has taken time and the required security measures. Of course, the transfer methods will remain confidential, but the documents should be revealed soon,” said Khatib, adding that in terms of volume, “talking about thousands of documents would be an understatement.”
In 2018, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the Israeli agents had seized a huge “archive” of Iranian documents who showed that Tehran had done more nuclear work than before.

The United States is currently in talks with Iran to resolve a dispute of a decade on its nuclear ambitions, although US President Donald Trump has threatened military action against the country’s nuclear installations if no agreement is concluded.
He favored diplomatic efforts, despite threats and, in April, would have blocked an Israeli strike planned for Iranian nuclear installations so as not to upset negotiations.
Iran’s supreme chief, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said on Wednesday that the abandonment of uranium enrichment was “100%” against Iran’s interests, rejecting American central demand in talks.
The Western powers claim that Iran, which is sworn in to the destruction of Israel, refines uranium to a high degree of fissile purity near the level suitable for the fuel of the atomic bomb, a level without unarmed use. Iran has long denied seeking nuclear weapons.
