Iowans cleaning up after tornadoes could experience more severe weather overnight

The powerful line of storms will reach the Nebraska-Iowa border around 2-3 a.m. and blow into central Iowa between 4-5 a.m. Storms will be capable of producing damaging winds and have the potential to cause tornadoes.

Heavy rain will also accompany this line, exacerbating our already saturated soils and causing rivers and streams to swell.
