Jessica Simpson is ready for her acting comeback after receiving an irresistible offer.
The pop star turned beauty mogul is the guest star on Ryan MurphyHulu’s next series Everything is fairmore than 15 years after his last appearance on screen.
“I feel like at 45 I’m born again,” Jessica exclusively told E! News’ Erin Lim Rhodes to the Everything is fair premiering in Los Angeles on October 16. “It’s like a resurrection of all things entertainment for me and it’s so cool.”
It was certainly a transformative year for Jessica, who announced her split from her husband. Eric Johnson in January. In the midst of this personal transition, Jessica, who shares children Maxwell13, Ace12, and Bird6, along with her ex, also returned to the stage after releasing new music.
“There was a 15-year hiatus and it seemed like a really long time,” she said of her hiatus. “I didn’t want it to last this long, but then I had another child and it was like, OK, I’m going to continue being a mom and just grow the brand, grow the Jessica Simpson collection as much as I can.”
