‘Insurgency most likely linked’ to Donald ‘stealing’ classified documents

[ad_1]

Mary Trump speculated Wednesday on MSNBC’s “The ReidOut” that her uncle, former President Donald Trump, took “top secret classified documents” related to the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol riot.

Host Joy Reid said: ‘Do you have any speculation as to what he wanted with those documents? ”

Trump said, “I think there are several different reasons that can all be true at the same time. Obviously he likes to hold on to things. He thinks they belong to him. It’s sort of a way to establish credibility on the street if you will, but Donald doesn’t do anything without a financial motive. So I think it’s also very likely that he had these documents, remember, some of them are specifically about foreign powers and what was going on there, that he leveraged them and /or financial gain.

Reid said: “Let’s talk about the other major alleged crime here, which would be insurrection. Now you have Jack Smith, this very aggressive lawyer. In your opinion, what fear is there in the country of Trump about this? »

Trump said, “Well, first of all, one of the biggest problems is that when you were going through the list of earlier crimes, earlier alleged crimes, I completely forgot about the insurgency. That’s what happens. Everything is cluttered because more and more are piling up. You are right. I think the insurgency is most likely related to the theft of top secret classified documents. I think the nomination of Jack Smith definitely sends fear down the spines of Donald’s loved ones.
