Insider is launching the defamation campaign on GM assistant commanders after Snub jets

Lance Newmark looked like a solid candidate for the vacant opening of the Director General of New York Jets. But something happened that made the AFC East team go in a different direction.

Washington commanders will not complain about this. Managing Director Adam Peters moved quickly to attract Newmark from the Lions of Detroit to be his assistant. The pair had an aligned vision for the future and undertook a drastic makeover of the game staff. Their bet paid generously.

Peters and Newmark set the table. The change of culture of Dan Quinn and the ability to shape this new look list in a coherent and competitive unit saw the commanders appearing in a single Victoire de Super Bowl. It is an important achievement that augurs extremely well for the future.

It is funny how often it occurs when the questions are asked.

Newmark played a leading role in the Renaissance of Detroit. He did the same in Washington and received sumptuous praise from Peters along the way. The jets had all the right to go in a different direction, but to discredit his work when the evidence should look at the criticisms opposite is unjustified and shameful to an equal extent.

It was not a good choice for any reason. This is not a big problem and the jets are not exactly the poster for stable franchises under the owner of the Woody Johnson team. It was their prerogative to go with Mougey, even if it is ironic that they were looking for someone like Peters without naming the man who worked closest to him in the past year.

Their snub is the gain in commanders. Newmark will continue to work alongside Peters during a pivotal off -season. Starting better than expected is one thing, but kick with the same emergency represents a different challenge.

Having stability will help. Peters knows how to advance commanders and Newmark is a respected assessor despite what Pauline (or those who speak to her) would make you believe.

And if the commanders say in the super bowl hunt next season, Newmark will obtain the respect it already deserves.
