Nestled under the tits in one of Jackson Hole, the most expensive districts of Wyoming, PGA Pros Tee on one of the most famous golf courses in the United States, ranking no. 1 In the best of Golf Digest in Wyoming and winning a place on the 100 best American courses in 2023 and 2024.
I’m talking about a shoot star, a club reserved for members in the village of Teton. You must be invited to join, and a shooting star representative told Business Insider last year that the club had a large waiting list.
It is not cheap either. The star shooting did not share its current membership price with BI, but when the club opened its doors in 2009, it had 189 members and membership fees of $ 100,000.
During a trip to Jackson Hole in September 2024, I had an exclusive club tour, and it was like a Millionaire’s Playhouse. Take a look inside.
Welcome to Jackson Hole’s ultra-exclusive shooting star.
With the kind authorization of a shooting star
The story of a shoot star dates back to the 1930s when the Resor family created Snake River Ranch, now known as the largest Jackson Hole work cattle.
Star owner and shooter of Star John Resor transformed a section of the Ranch into an exclusive golf course, a club and a residential community. It was a $ 130 million project.
The shooting star is in the district of Jackson Hole Teton Village.

About 22 miles from Jackson, the shooting star is sandwiched between Snake River Ranch and Jackson Hole Resort.
The space of 1300 acres has a clubhouse, a golf course and a shop, a pool terrace, a barn and residential lodges.

When I toured the property, I thought the clubhouse looked like a luxury ranch. The vast building overlooked the golf course and a 25 -meter swimming pool.
The clubhouse opens with a large hall with a Western aesthetic.

I spotted lead nods to the American west when I entered the clubhouse. An animal skull and realistic cattle paintings in Snake River Ranch decorated the household walls.
I also noticed a range of natural textures, wooden floors and ceiling moldings with leather seats in front of the large stone chimney.
Outside, the 18 -hole golf course looked like a painting.

I am not a golfer, but he was instantly clear why Golf Digest was classified by a top 100 in the United States.
The 250 -acres course seemed dynamic, with trembles with tremors and persistent leaves that dot hills separated from 50 acres of water risk, including ponds and streams. It was designed by Tom Fazio, who also designed Donald Trump golf clubs in Westchester, New York and Pine Hill, New Jersey.
Fazio also designed several courses at the exclusive vintage club in Indian Wells, California, where Bill Gates bought a house for $ 12.5 million in 1999.
The golf course mixed so perfectly with its environment that I thought it was a natural landscape, but the earth was reformed with a design objective of making each hole unique.
According to a shooting star brochure, the process included the displacement of 2 million cubic cubes of dirt, the planting of more than 2,500 trees and the size of 50 acres of lakes.
For a handful of Pros PGA, including the director of the Ben Polland golf club, the shooting star is more than a home journey – it’s day work.
From the course, I could see resident cabins and lodges.

According to Jackson Hole Sotheby’s International Realty, most houses have not hit the market. However, the available announcements include plots of two acres for $ 15.5 million and three four -room cabins for $ 11.75 million.
Next to the clubhouse, the Alpine barn is used during the ski season.

In winter, star filming becomes a skier paradise, and the Alpine barn is the center.
Inside, there were nearly 200 lockers. During the ski season, the barn shows films and serves free food. A shuttle takes the skiers to the Jackson Hole mountain station nearby to hit the slopes, but there is also a track around the perimeter of the route for a short race.
Back inside, the second floor of the clubhouse is home to a fitness center.

The installation of 2,400 square feet had smart cardio equipment with large screens overlooking the pool and the barn. A handful of training studios offered lessons like yoga and pilates.
Outside, there were also tennis and pickleball courts.
The spa was on the same floor.

I entered one of the six care rooms and I thought it was serene.
Limestone and textured wood moldings the walls. There were a fireplace, comfortable seats and two processing beds.
Natural light has poured out from the window to the back of the room. There was a gigantic stainless steel bathtub in front of it.
Bathing in there with a view of the route and the surrounding nipples would be a dream.
The SPA bathroom had equipment similar to a luxury hotel.

I spotted glass jars containing toothbrushes, razors, hair ties, eye drops and over -the -counter pain and allergies.
Back down, there was a restaurant with interior and outdoor dining room.

The dining room had a wood fireplace inside. On the patio, the members could dine right next to the golf course.
Before leaving, I was able to discover a miniature version of the property inside the clubhouse.
Joey Hadden / Business Insider
The property is vast, so see everything planned on a table helped me better understand the course and development.
I started with an idea of what it might be to be a member of such an exclusive club in an epic location.
