Inside Out 2 enters the top 10 animated films of all time nationally

Disney/Pixar Inside Out 2 continues to fly away, reaching $799.7 million worldwide until Tuesday. In this context, the international box office crossed the four-century mark in record time. $411.9 million of 44 foreign markets until yesterday. In North America, Inside Out 2 got up at $387.8 millionprogressing well in the national animated chart.

After 12 days of domestic release, the hit sequel is now the #10 animated film of all time there, having passed Minions: The Rise of Gru ($370 million), The world of Nemo ($381 million) and Spider-Man: Through the Spider-Verse ($382 million). The next animated title it will overtake nationally is Disney Frozen.

Around the world, the question is when, not if, Inside Out 2 passes the billion dollar mark. The Kelsey Mann-led juggernaut is already well on its way to surpassing the first Upside downThis represents $859 million globally.

Tuesday, Inside Out 2 added $18.4 million in North America (18% of the weekend) for the highest non-December Tuesday ever (7th biggest ever).

Tuesday internationally, IO2 putting another $19.6 million in the memory bank, which is 12% of last weekend.

The main foreign markets until Tuesday are Mexico ($68.4 million), UNITED KINGDOM ($31.1 million), Korea ($30.4 million), Brazil ($23.3 million), Italy ($22.4 million), Germany ($19 million), Argentina ($16 million), Spain ($15.7 million), France ($14.9 million) and Australia ($13.8 million).

At $12.5 million through Tuesday, China increased to $13.8 million as of today (the difference is not included in the cumulative total above). In local currency, it has already surpassed the original film while Maoyan now projects a final gross of $33.4 million, which is 150% bigger than the first film in local currency. Japan is still due to be released on August 1st.
