Ingraham: New normal of COVID-19 refers to a ‘Democrat is in power’

Fox News host Laura Ingraham called out the left for politically motivated COVID-19 hypocrisy Friday on “The Ingraham Angle.”

LAURA INGRAHAM: [N]This is the left’s new COVID charade. I don’t know if you’ve heard this: Currently, some of Washington’s elites are dealing with a case of asymptomatics. Now everyone from Attorney General Merrick Garland to Biden Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo to Communications Director Kamala Harris has tested positive for COVID in recent days. So what was the origin of this now rare epidemic? Well, it seems that the annual conference bringing together the press and some of their favorite politicians was the source of the problem. It’s called the Gridiron Club dinner. Now I remember a time when holding big events like this was called the height of irresponsibility because they put lives at risk. And moreover, it is the fault of those who took the measured risk of attending.

The new normal must refer to “a Democrat is in power”. Since these were [CNN resident medical analyst Leana] Wen’s previous feelings on the matter: “I’m very concerned, because if I were to custom-design a super-spreading event, this is what it would look like. It would look like a lot of people from many parts of the country coming together, no social distancing, no masks and in fact, even posting this public health advice.” Now this new line of thinking has even infected the White House. After Nancy Pelosi tested positive yesterday, photos emerged of her kissing President Biden. Surely that was alarming for the White House.

Rest assured that the same media and medical experts who so blatantly misled the United States throughout 2020 will be back to provide coverage for Democrats.
