The images were part of a video package highlighting the PL-15E-an export version of the Air-Air PL-15 missile designed for long-range commitments-and showed robotic weapons transparently performing tasks such as the installation of components, welding and quality checks.
Experts presented in the video said that the passage from China to “intelligent manufacturing” allowed a 24 -hour driver production, with systems that can adapt to various missile variants to accelerate production and reduce costs.
“Our flexible production chain at China Airborne Missile Academy allows for identification, installation, welding and automated quality inspection.
“Once the materials are ready and the software defined, the process is automatically runs without needing human intervention,” she added.
The flexible production line allows compatibility with various products, change in production capacity according to needs and supports multi-varitiator manufacturing, depending on the video.
