Ashok Gehlot went pretty well in the days and months leading to the assembly elections, at least it seemed to be. But, at the time of the depot of this opinion, the BJP went well halfway, rushing towards a nearby scan.

Gehlot tried to swing voters by promising 10,000 rupees each year to all women from the State families as part of the Gruha Laxmi guarantee program. He also reproduced the UJJWALA regime of the Modi government – the chief minister promised subsidized LPG cylinders to more than one driver in Rajasthan.

His largest and lucrative scheme, however, which was extrapolated by ballot experts to become the magic wand of Gehlot was the health insurance regime of Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi. Again, a sheet outside the BJP game book, the chief minister thought that this program would make him switch the state. Why not? Gehlot seems to have lost the plot for his “Muslim appeasement”. We can start with what happened in Karara in 2022. A “Nav Samvatsar” procession to mark the first day of the Hindu New Year crossed a district dominated by Muslims and would have been attacked.

The police tried to intervene, but came at the end of violence. A cop which was injured in the stone plateau and the direct action “at the top of Muslim houses and the mosque”, filed a complaint, claiming that the attack on the Hindu procession was deliberate and planned and not spontaneous in response to any provocation of the procession.

Karauli was April 2022. Claire on the heels came the clashes of Jodhpur. The city was pushed to the edge. The violence broke out when an Islamic flag was hoisted on an intersection near the Porte de Jalori in the days leading to Eid. But, the murder of Kanhaiya LAL was the most important turning point in Gehlot’s line of destiny. The unfortunate tailor, which had been warned several times to have supported Nupur Sharma on social networks, was brutally murdered in Udaipur. He was killed with a cleaver by two young Muslims inside his shop. The attackers tried to behead it, but could not. Later, they had published the horrible video of the incident on social networks to the horror of the whole nation.

Gehlot’s reaction was just as horrible. He came out by saying that the kanhaiyal lal murder was the own BJP. He tried to attack the NIA which took over the case.

Add all this to the rise and rise of horrible crimes against the dalits in Rajasthan, in particular targeting the women of the community, and you get an exhilarating potion that will thwart any very strong out, whipped by any magician, but accomplished.
