The Minister of the Interior also accused the Congress of engaging in scams and said that if the BJP was elected to power in the State, those who committed corruption would be behind bars. He promised that the BJP will not interfere in the religious question of anyone and would take measures against forced conversion
The Minister of the Interior of the Union, Amit Shah, launched Friday a scathing attacked against the congress party, saying that religious conversion was increasing the chhattisgarh under the government led by the party, which, according to him, used State machinery to convert the poor tribes forcibly.
Addressing a rally in the constituency of the Pandariya assembly of Chhattisgarh in the state linked to the election, the Minister of the Interior also accused the Congress of engaging in scams and declared that if the BJP was Elected in power in the state, those who committed corruption will be behind bars.
He nicknamed the chief minister Bhupeh Baghel a “prepaid” of the congress, accusing him of transforming the state chessboard into an automatic counter of the old old party.
“In the domination of the congress, religious conversion is increasing. The Constitution gives freedom to each citizen to follow the faith of their choice. But they started using the state machinery to convert the poor tribes, which is not in the interest of the state. Following this, the clashes broke out in each house and village of the state, and the situation of public order has deteriorated, “he said.
Our government will not interfere in the religious problem of anyone, but if a government encourages conversion, severe measures will be taken by the BJP to prevent it, he added.
“CM Bhupeh Baghel is a prepaid CM Congress and if it comes back to power, it will be exchanged (like an ATM card) by its party and all the state money will be taken by Delhi,” said Shah, targeting the leaders of the Congress.
The Minister of the Interior also accused the chief minister Baghel of engaging in the appeasement policy and said that his reverse countdown had started.
