Around 7:15 p.m. this Friday, shots were fired in Saint-Avé (56), during a brawl between young people who would come from the district of Ménimur, in Vannes, and young people from the town. The day before, a conflict between them had already occurred near the Dôme, the cultural hall of Saint-Avé. It had required the intervention of the gendarmes.
No injuries
This Friday evening, the armed altercation took place in rue Victor-Schoelcher, still near the Dôme. A Dome where, this Friday evening, a show was held where 450 people were gathered. Two people were arrested by the gendarmes and weapons were seized. There were no injuries.
Important means were deployed, this Friday evening, to find the other participants in the scuffles, who fled, and to pacify the sector. Land patrols, led in particular by gendarmes from the Vannes and Lorient surveillance and intervention platoons, were underway, while a gendarmerie helicopter flew over the town.
