Pakistan: Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi secures bail from Lahore High Court in Al-Qadir Trust case
Imran Khan and his wife first appeared in the Court of Accounts to seek a protective bond for Bushra Bibi, whose bail in the corruption case expired on May 23, to avoid his arrest just in case.
The court approved his release on bail until May 31 against bonds worth PKR 500,000.
The two later proceeded to an Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) – located in the same court complex as the Accountability Court – where the former prime minister’s lawyer filed for bail, reported GeoNews.
