In an apparent push to his’Prison ka jawab vote is“ Campaign, the Aam Aadmi party appointed the chief minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and Satyendra Jain, who are all imprisoned, as party activist in Gujarat before the elections of Lok Sabha 2024.
The AAP announced on Tuesday a list of 40 star activists in Gujarat, which also mentioned the names of the wife of Kejriwal, Sunita Kejriwal and the chief minister of Punjab, Bhagwant Mann.
The Lok Sabha elections in Gujarat will be held in a single phase on May 7 and the last date of deposit of appointment documents is April 19.
In Gujarat, the AAP runs the elections within the framework of the Indian block and will dispute the two seats of Bharuch and Bhavnagar out of a total of 26. The 24 remaining seats will be disputed by the Congress.
The other leading names on the list are AAP Rajya Sabha MPS Sanjay Singh, Raghav Chadha and Sandeep Pathak.
THE Prison ka jawab vote is campaign
Tuesday, the party launched a mega campaign called Prison ka jawab votes sankalp sabha.
AAP View Commander, Gopal Rai, said the campaign will continue until May 23. Under this, all party deputies will hold meetings in areas under the four districts of the national capital – East, South, West and New Delhi.
“I’m going to launch the campaign tomorrow (April 16) from the constituency of the Vishwas Nagar assembly, and hold 40 Sabhas … until April 22. Likewise, AAP Rajya Sabha, MP Sanjay Singh, will start the Sabhas of Ambedkar Nagar, who will continue until May 23 … All leaders will hold such Sabhas and will make a commitment against the arrest of the Minister of Chief Arvind Kejriwal “Said Rai.
He added: “The Sabhas calendar as well as deputies will be published soon … Our goal is to ensure that 1 Lakh of people makes a commitment in” Ka Jawab Prison Sankalp Sabha “.
