Memorandum for the Secretary of Transport
The Federal Aviation administrator
ADMINISTRATION
Subject: Immediate assessment of air security
On January 29, 2025, a commercial plane and a military helicopter collided near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. American families woke up today without their loved ones after what should have been a routine trip, and the whole nation cries the loss of victims.
This shocking event follows problematic and probable illegal decisions during the Obama and Biden administrations which minimized merit and competence in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The Obama Administration has implemented a biographical questionnaire at the FAA to keep the objective of the objective aptitude away. During my first mandate, my administration increased standards to achieve the highest standards of safety and excellence. But the Biden administration deliciously rejected hiring based on merit, demanding that all departments and executive agencies implement dangerous tactics of “equity and inclusion of diversity”, and specifically recruit people with “severe intellectual” deficiencies in the FAA.
During my second day in power, I ordered an immediate return to recruitment, hiring and promotion based on merit, increasing security and capacity such as the primordial standard. The devastating accident of yesterday tragically underlines the need to raise security and competence as the priority of the FAA.
In accordance with the presidential memorandum of January 21, 2025 (keep the Americans safe in aviation), I also order the Secretary of Transport (Secretary) and the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration (Administrator) to examine all the decisions of Hiring and changes in security protocols manufactured in the previous 4 years and to take corrective measures if necessary to achieve air -free security without compromise, including replacement of anyone who does not meet qualification standards. This review must include a systematic assessment of any deterioration in job standards and air -security standards and protocols during the Biden administration.
In accordance with the presidential memorandum of January 21, 2025, the secretary and the administrator must take all the measures necessary to cancel the trends in security and staff in the previous 4 years, instill an unwavering commitment to air security and May all Americans fly with peace of mind.
