‘I’m the GOAT, bro’ – Hilarious backyard footage of LeBron James shows NBA legend laughing with kids in 3-point shootout

LeBron James would not refuse.

Even with one of his children teasing him and laughing in his face.

The NBA’s all-time leading scorer showed a warm, personal side in a hilarious video featuring his son, Bryce, that appeared to have been filmed in a spacious backyard at night.

During wholesome footage, James drilled 3-pointers while fending off Bryce’s playful teasing.

James’ other son, Bronny, spent last year at USC before entering the NCAA transfer portal and declaring for the NBA draft.

Playing on a makeshift court filled with cobblestones, a 39-year-old who made 2,410 career 3-pointers reminded everyone who watched how good he was at his job.

“It won’t go in,” Bryce said, as James lined up for a long-range shot.

“Why are you tripping?” James replied.

The Lakers legend sank his basket smoothly, then talked a little family shit.

“Why are you acting like this?” said a smiling James. “That’s what I do. I’m the GOAT, bro. THE GOAT.”

Another long-range shot from James followed.

Another basket made.

“Stop playing with me, man,” the NBA king said.

Bryce quickly called for the ball.

“What am I giving you the ball for?” his father joked.

Bryce’s shot fell to the left and didn’t hit.

More laughter followed, as James enjoyed some valuable downtime with his family before the start of the NBA playoffs.

“LeBron works best under pressure. GOAT status,” one fan tweeted.

It's hard to argue against James, especially as he approaches 40 years old.

“King James himself knows he’s the greatest of all time,” posted a second fan.

“LeBron makes this look easy,” a third fan wrote.

Others found it a bit odd that James took pleasure in calling himself the GOAT out loud.

“Self-glazing should take him out of the goat debate,” one fan said.

The Lakers, seeded No. 7, are scheduled to face the Denver Nuggets, No. 2, in the first round.

Denver is favored and swept Los Angeles out of the Western Conference finals last season.

“The Joker is going to cook these clowns,” one fan tweeted.

James won his backyard competition with Bryce during a heartwarming family moment.

Nikola Jokic and the defending champion Nuggets won’t be as kind on a real NBA court.
