Frank Lampard says he is not surprised by the interest in Dominic Calvert-Lewin but insists the forward is fully focused on Everton’s fight to avoid relegation.
The England striker has been heavily linked with moves to both Arsenal and Newcastle United over the course of this season, with speculation suggesting the Toffees would be willing to cash in on the player to ease their financial woes this summer.

Calvert-Lewin has been heavily linked with an Everton exit
For the 25-year-old, the season has been scrappy with injury limiting him to just 15 appearances this term, scoring three goals in the process.
With Everton currently embroiled in a battle to avoid the drop, Lampard will be desperate for Calvert-Lewin to play his role for the Toffees, something the head coach has no reservations about.
Discussing the speculation, Lampard said: “He didn’t tell me anything like that.
“He is training well and we talk a lot, and he hasn’t said anything like that. I’m not stupid, it’s football and he’s a player who would be wanted by clubs because of his level of player.
“There are not many attackers.
“They cost a lot of money. I don’t worry about him at all and I wouldn’t worry about playing him in those games.

Lampard hopes the striker can help his side’s cause in the coming weeks
“He is absolutely focused on the job.
“He has been a great player for Everton and Everton has been a great club for him in his career.
Lampard added: “He has three years left on his contract, and I want to take this club forward. Players like Dominic contribute to this.
“I know he didn’t play by the minute because he was getting fit, but now he’s fit so hopefully he helps in these last rookie games.”
