“I’m not a celebrity…I’m a trauma survivor”

Gypsy Rose Blanchard denounces his celebrity status! In fact, she recently made it clear that she is a “trauma survivor” and not an entertainer for the masses.

Since her early release from prison in December 2023, the 32-year-old’s personal life has attracted a lot of interest. She had served seven years of her ten-year sentence for her role in orchestrating the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard.

Now she clearly shows that she is a survivor on her own timing!

“Don’t ask me to relieve my trauma for your personal curiosity, don’t demand to know the answers to questions that have no relevance to your life, don’t expect me to have overcome my past during your time, don’t talk to me about my mistakes and my choices when I have to live with them in my consciousness, don’t project what you want me to be because you find that more interesting,” she wrote on TikTok , per TMZ “I am NOT a celebrity I AM a trauma survivor healing from emotional, mental and medical abuse.

For context, days after being freshly released, Gypsy joined social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok. Because of her public profiles, thousands of people have followed her movements, from her relationship with husband Ryan Scott Anderson to filing for divorce, to reuniting with ex-fiancé Ken Urker, and even her new job as a nose !

Gypsy Rose says she’s not an advocate despite trying to educate with her story

So when it comes to celebrity expectations and constant criticism, Gypsy Rose isn’t here for them.

“I shared my story in the hopes that it would vicariously educate about Munchausen and inspire other survivors, only to have my abuse invalidated by social media content creators who have no psychological education to support their claims despite several psychiatrists specializing in MBP, such as Dr. Marc Feldman who interviewed for HBO’s “Mommy Dead and Dearest” in 2017, after reviewing my medical records obtained for my case. He had (a) great conviction. that my mother actually suffered from MBP,” she added.

According to the National Library of Medicine, Munchausen by proxy is a disorder characterized by the fabrication or induction of signs or symptoms of a disease. Throughout her childhood, Gypsy’s mother subjected her to medication, confined her to a wheelchair, and forced her to use a feeding tube when Rose did not need one.

At 32, Gypsy says she’s “HEALING” and doesn’t want anyone to “ask her to plead her case.”
