One of downtown Chicago’s top attractions will offer free admission to Illinois residents in the coming weeks as part of a “Winter Weekdays” deal.
Starting this week, the Art Institute of Chicago is offering Illinois residents free admission all day Monday, Thursday and Friday through March 14.
The museum will also open on Wednesdays starting March 5, meaning March 5 and 12 will be considered free admission days for Illinois residents.
Those wishing to visit the institute can reserve their tickets online in advance, with residency status verified by the postcode used with the billing address provided.
However, those who cannot book their tickets online in advance can still benefit from their free entry by arriving at one of the admission counters on the day of their visit.
More information about Art Institute of Chicago admissions and eligibility for free admission is available on their website.
