IKWYDLS Stars Explain How The Series Is Different From The Movie

[ad_1]

So, we invite you to start your countdown to the October 15 premiere by taking a look at what the cast had to say about the adaptation.

E! New: Can you tell us about how Amazon Prime Video I know what you did last summer differs from film and book?

Madison Iseman: I like to think of our series as a nostalgic half-sister to both the movie and the book. We certainly pay tribute to all of them. And that’s good, you know, they gave us such a great job on the ground to leave. Our stories start out pretty much the same, we have a fatal car crash… and a killer, who will literally stop at nothing to horrify us all. But we also have a whole new set and we have a new cast. Our story is very character driven – yes, there is a killer on the loose chasing us, but what really motivates us and our stories are all secrets everyone has… Plus we have smart phones! I’m sure the ’90s cast would have loved to have an iPhone during this time. So that also plays a big role.
