IGA Swiatek crashed from the Italian Open after a shocking upheaval in second round at Danielle Collins 6-1, 7-5
Swiatek attempted a return to the second set after an almost flawless opening of seven -colline games, but ultimately the American won the victory.
The post has had a difficult clay swing so far, losing in the quarter-finals in Stuttgart, before Swiatek suffered a strong defeat against Coco Gauff in the semi-final of Madrid Open.
After falling from the Italian open so early, the world number two will have to make a decision on its preparation leading to Roland Garros, where Swiatek came out victorious last year.
The former Wimbledon champion, Marion Bartoli, had her say on the ideal programming of Swiatek before the second major of the year.

Marion Bartoli thinks Iga Swiatek will play another tournament before Roland Garros
Speaking after Swiatek’s defeat, Bartoli said: “It will be a delicate situation. Will she ask for a joker in one of the events that led to Roland Garros? This is a question mark.”
“Novak Djokovic, for example, asked for a joker in Geneva. I think that for the IGA, she has a lack of game game. ”
So I think that she is likely to sit with her team and we think for 10 days of practice in Roland Garros when we have a title to defend, or are we really going to competition?
“I think maybe the two option. But it’s a difficult time 10 days ahead of Roland Garros, that’s for sure.”

IGA Swiatek tournaments can play before Roland Garros
During the two weeks preceding the French Open, Swiatek has some options to prepare for his title defense.
She can use the fortnight to practice, or enter one of the two tournaments from May 18 and 19.
The higher level event of the two is a WTA 500 in Strasbourg, in France, where Madison Keys is the holder of the current title.
The other is a WTA 250 in Rabat, Morocco, which begins a day later than Strasbourg. The two tournaments end on May 24.
The quadruple champion of Roland Garros will appear at the Open of France for the seventh time, seeking to add a sixth title of Grand Colem to her name.
