Julianne Moore and Nicholas Galitzine talk about their new period drama “Mary & George”
Nicolas Galitzine clears the air on the idea of You his sexuality.
While the Idea of you the star rose to fame playing queer characters in the film Red, white and royal blue and the mini-series Mary and Georgehe recently set the record straight about his own sexual identity.
“I identify as a straight man,” Nicholas said British GQ in an interview published on May 8, “but I’ve been a part of some incredible queer stories.”
THE Down The actor later admitted that his sexuality sometimes made him doubtful about accepting such roles.
“I sometimes felt a sense of uncertainty about whether I was filling someone’s place, and perhaps a sense of guilt,” Nicholas continued. “At the same time, I consider these characters not just their sexuality.”
Additionally, the 29-year-old insisted that any character he plays is completely separate from who he is outside of work, explaining: “I’m Nick and I’m not my role.”
