Back of the Yards – Immigration and customs agents arrived in a primary school in the CPS in Back of the Yards on Friday, but were repressed by school administrators, CPS officials said.
US immigration and customs officials arrived at the Hamline elementary school on Friday morning, 1548 W. 48th St., officials from the Chicago public school announced. The director said that the school administrators followed the protocols and did not authorize the agents to enter the school.
Students and staff inside the school were safe, officials said.
