Novak Djokovic struck the “experts” of injuries by publishing the MRI of his hamstrings injured on social networks on Sunday after being forced to withdraw from Australia Open in 2025 in the semi-finals against Alexander Zverev on Friday.
Djokovic retired from the semi-finals after losing the first set in an equality break due to what seemed to be a left hamstiff injury. He was later confirmed that he had a tear in his left thigh.
While Djokovic, 37 years old, was starting to go to the locker room after shaking the hand of Zverev and the chair referee, a section of fans was heard by putting it.

The Serbian did not reveal the severity of the injury and the recovery calendar.
Djokovic had suffered the injury in the exhausting victory of four sets against Carlos Alcaraz in the quarterfinals.

“Towards the end of this first set, I just started to feel more and more pain,” he said. “It was too much, I guess, to manage for me right now. Unhappy end, but I tried.
