“I have never canceled any fight”

‘Iranian Hulk’ is threatening to sue Martyn Ford after ‘The World’s Scariest Man’ announced his fight scheduled for April 30 had been postponed.

The gigantic duo were due to meet in a boxing match at a showpiece event at the O2 Arena, but that fight is now over and the ‘Iranian Hulk’ – real name Sajad Gharibi – accuses his opponent of to have frayed the fight.

After hearing he was no longer ready to fight later this month, Gharibi hopped on social media and suggested he would seek legal advice over what he considers a breach of contract.

“Today I heard that Ford didn’t want to fight, that’s not me [and] no other fighters,” he wrote on Instagram.

“I never canceled a fight between us but he doesn’t want to see me again! It’s against the contract and my legal team has started looking into it.

“Actually, ‘pretty boy’ can never fight, he just hides and runs away, he has to get permission from a woman first.

“I can’t believe an opponent like him, it’s shameful. This victory is not an honor for me, it’s a joke of a century, not a fight of a century.

It comes after Ford released a statement on Monday saying his fight with the ‘Iranian Hulk’ had been postponed for reasons beyond his control.

“This is a statement that I didn’t want to have to release but unfortunately on April 30 my fight is going to be rescheduled,” Ford said in a video posted to his Instagram on Monday.

“The event is still going on, it’s just my fight.

“The event will still happen and there are great people, there are fights.

“Unfortunately, mine won’t be part of it, for reasons beyond my control.

“It doesn’t take a genius to figure them all out. I don’t want to talk about it.

“Too much time and energy has been wasted.

“For me, personally, I always train hard, there will be a start, there will be a fight, I’m just not 100% sure who, when or why, but it will happen.”
