President Joe Biden lashed out at reporters as he took questions Sunday night, telling them he knows “more world leaders” than they had met in “their entire damn lives.”
In a video job at X, Biden was seen answering questions from reporters about whether he thought President-elect Donald Trump was a “threat to democracy.” After being asked about Trump’s plans to end birthright, Biden allegedly “changed the subject to attack” reporters, according to Fox News.
“Do you still think he poses a threat to democracy? » asked a journalist.
“I think what he did was a real threat to democracy,” Biden responded.
“Being the oldest president, I know more world leaders than any of you have ever met in your entire damn life,” Biden said after being asked about Trump’s proposed plans to end birthright citizenship, according to the media outlet.
In response to Biden’s comments attacking journalists, several people described Biden as “angry, vindictive” and “petty.”
“This is the real Biden that they tried to hide from you for years,” said Link Lauren, a former senior adviser to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. wrote in an article on X. “Angry, vindictive, petty. He’s not really that nice grandfather. Even if this is the image that the White House conveys to the outside world.”
“Our president reminds us why he has the lowest favorability of any president since 1952,” Rep. Don Bacon (R-NE) wrote in a message.
“Does he remember any of their names?” a person request in a message.
As Breitbart News previously reported, Biden went after journalists. In August 2019, Biden lashed out at an Iowa reporter after he was fact-checked “for claiming to draw the largest crowds of any Democrat running for president.”
In February 2024, Biden lashed out at a reporter who raised Americans’ concerns about his age, and he rejected the suggestion that he withdraw from the presidential race for another Democratic candidate to run.
Kristina Wong of Breitbart News also reported that in September 2024, Biden “gave a sarcastic response” to a reporter who asked him “why he and Vice President Kamala Harris weren’t physically in Washington to command the response from the federal government to Hurricane Helene.
“I was in charge,” Biden responded. “I was on the phone for at least two hours yesterday and the day before yesterday as well. I order. It’s called a telephone.
