I hated white jeans until I found this pair from a brand worn by Oprah

I get bored easily because of my clothes. So much so that I’ve relied on Rent the Runway, a subscription service that lets me play with new styles every week, for five years. Imagine my surprise, then, when I found myself wearing a certain pair of white jeans two days in a row, washing them, and putting them back on the second they were dry enough to put on.

Surprise! I’m wearing them, again, as I write these words. Anyway, I fell madly in love with NYDJ’s Mia Palazzo jeans, a brand that Oprah has praised in the past for the way their denim fits “perfectly.” These dreamy pants are on sale for a limited time at Amazon, where they’re marked down to $71.

The NYDJ Mia Palazzo Jean is an ultra comfortable, moderately stretchy denim pant. Designed with the utmost flattery and unparalleled comfort in mind, the style features a high waist that hits just below the belly button and moderately stretchy fabric that’s just shy of the softness of sweatpants. The material, 88% cotton, 10% polyester and 2% spandex, owes its perfect amount of stretch and incredible comfort.

Legs feature a relaxed fit through the thighs just quite tight: no volume or, on the other hand, constructive character. The wide leg bottom, very fashionable at the moment, goes just as well with sneakers as with my favorite 5 inch platforms.

While these jeans are considerably more comfortable than most, they’re far from being jeggings, or some other trompe-l’oeil denim hack, to be clear. On the contrary, their appearance is nothing less than traditional denim pants. You’ll find everything you love about traditional jean styles: a button and zipper front closure, and four pockets (two below the hips and two at the back) plus a belt loop.

Currently, I’m wearing the jeans paired with a chambray blouse, French-tucked and finished with a statement necklace for a perfectly understated but elegant WFH outfit. I also threw on the jeans with a little black halter top and chunky sandals for nights out, a white cropped t-shirt for lounging around on Sunday morning, and plan to experiment with blazers next, which I’m considering to become my new favorite. comfortable office uniform.

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that crisp white jeans have rarely been a part of my wardrobe in the past; Somehow I had never found a totally flattered pair. The Mia Palazzo Pants, however, are a rare exception in the realm of white pants and truly make me feel fantastic.
