I hate heavy body lotions, but this lightly firming version is my favorite

I’m finally swapping my beauty and skincare products for summer. I usually start by choosing a lighter skin tone in place of a heavier foundation when the temperature starts to rise. The other skincare product I change out seasonally is my body lotion. So I restocked Osea’s Anti-Aging Body Balm, which has been my go-to for glowing, firm skin for the past two summers.

The balm is made from algae, which has anti-aging properties that improve the skin’s elasticity while replenishing its moisture. It also includes Passion Fruit Seed Oil to increase the skin’s ability to retain moisture, promoting healthier, younger-looking skin, Coconut Oil to seal moisture and safflower seed oil to nourish dry skin. The lotion is ideal for all skin types and features a light scent of jasmine, rose geranium and basil.

Osea Anti-Aging Body Balm

My favorite thing about this seaweed-infused body lotion is its consistency. It’s rich and effortlessly light while blending into an oil or serum-like consistency. After showering, I massage the balm into slightly damp skin to effectively lock in moisture, leaving my skin smooth, hydrated and glowing. A few pumps are enough and don’t leave an oily residue or transfer on clothes. The scent is clean and fresh, not overpowering and pairs well with other scents.

After hours of use, my skin feels soft, firm and less textured, even without reapplication. On the days I don’t wear the body balm, my skin still feels smooth and hydrated, which obviously improves the overall health of my skin. I even find my boyfriend swiping a little balm, and he says his dry, cracked skin stays hydrated for longer and feels much softer.
