I digested the best laptop offers in October Prime Day

The best laptop offers in October Prime Day at a glance:

Black Friday is the best absolute time to buy a laptop if you want a lot. The retailers generally reserve their hollows all year round for October to December to attract vacation buyers and to erase their shelves before new generation material launches in January. It is the perfect storm for the hunt for good business PC.

For its part, Amazon unofficially launches its black friday festivities well in advance with a sale of big days of the big deal in early fall. This event “October Prime Day” begins today, October 7 and takes place until October 8, which means that the offers have already started.

There are several Apple Macbooks and Microsoft Surface Copilot + PCS reduced as part of the first days of great understanding. Amazon will probably put many more selling options as the event rolls and will further reduce the prices of the models already on the sale.

That said, there are two first -day laptop offers that, I think, deserve to be considered now because they are already or very close to their stockings of all time.

Best MacBook case

Why we love it

Apple’s M4 MacBook Air is an elegant speed demon: in our CPU reference, it has surpassed 89% of the models in our laptop test database. (Compared to the latest generation M3 model, it is faster 24% more quickly.) It does not seem so different from the older MacBook with m-something, but its central 12 MP camera improved was a welcome upgrade to our criticism. We believe that the 13 -inch model is the best MacBook for students and other users who appreciate portability, and at the moment, Amazon has an improved configuration with 512 GB of storage for sale for $ 999 – its lowest price ever recorded. (Double its basic capacity of 256 GB means that you will probably never need an external hard drive.) No other MacBook was on sale for a hollow of all time at the time of writing.

Best Windows laptop business

Why we love it

The 13.8 -inch surface laptop with a Snapdragon X Elite chip is our favorite Windows laptop for most people. It’s beautiful, it is about as fast as a M4 MacBook Air, and it lasts almost 23 hours on a single load – it’s two longer than the MacBook Pro powered by M4, the most durable Macbook that we have tried. (Before buying it, simply check that its powerful CPU based on ARM is compatible with your essential applications.) The black variant with 16 GB of memory and 512 GB of storage is marked at $ 957 for the leading days, which represents a reduction of 32% on its $ 1,399.99 of MSRP. It fell very briefly at $ 918.47 at the end of September, but this current offer defeated its first order agreement in July.
