An amateur hockey player of Colorado was arrested heart in the middle of a match and was died for 16 minutes on the ice, his surviving story bringing him closer to his faith.
Billy Garaffa spoke of his imminent death incident from April 2022 last month, telling when doctors on ice rushed to the ice to save her life.
Garaffa said a moment in a city championship match in the Aspen region, Colorado, which he had collapsed. His wife, Isabella Garaffa, was in the crowd and remembers the moment – “I just screaming”, “Jesus, help him!”
It was later discovered that Billy’s Hear had developed rare collateral arteries that maintained blood with his arrested heart. This unique trait saved his life, the doctors believing that he also had a heart attack on the ice.
“It is as if God had built this miracle in me in advance,” said Billy on the podcast “Not Nomads”.
However, when he is in distress on the ice, Billy remembers the feeling while chaos continued from him.

“I could smell the sweetest smell,” said Billy about him on the ice. “I felt the Holy Spirit lead me.
Billy also said that the moments of imminent death “also looked like real life”. He was finally brought back to his senses and is in good health today, publishing on Mother’s Day on his Instagram last week.
“Everything was orchestrated,” added Billy. “There is no other explanation.
According to a LinkedIn page found under his name, Garaffa is real estate manager at Rejea Construction in Snowmass Village, Colorado and occupies the position since 2013.
Experience has left the Garaffa family forever changed, with their reflection of the incident bringing them closer to God.
