Cat has completely changed the technological landscape in certain massive and irreversible ways. Chatgpt was the first IA chatbot which has really had an impact in broader society, and since then it has evolved and improved.

Did you know that there are a lot of parameters and features that you can use to get even more from your Chatgpt experience? Chatgpt offers a range of features that help make it more personal and, therefore, more useful in certain cases of use. So here are all the parameters and features that I recommend to modify or personalize to get the most out of the service.

Data controls and confidentiality

Before trying to make the Chatppt more personal, it is worth taking a look at your data controls to make sure that they are configured in a way with which you are comfortable. Like most technological services and software services today, OPENAI uses user data to improve ChatPPT. If you are like me, you don’t really want OPENAI to do it and prefer your personal data to be as private as possible.

To change your data checks on the web, log into Chatgpt, then press your profile photo in the upper right corner. Then click on “Settings” and choose the “Data checks” option in the Settings menu. From there you can Switch the “Improve the model for everyone” option to deactivate. Alternatively, if you do not bother OpenAi to have access to your textual chat data, you can individually deactivate audio and video recordings. Note that if you deactivate the model improvement as a whole, audio and video recordings are automatically deactivated and cannot be activated alone.

Personalize your Chatppt

Although Chatgpt can know more about you as you go, in which we will enter later, you can give it information about you that can help you specifically adapt, via the Chatgpt customization function. This is also how you can adapt the answers to your preferences, so for example, if you prefer that the Chatppt is a little less positive, you can say it.

To customize chatgpt, go to the chatgpt website, then press your profile photo in the upper right corner, then click on the “Chatgpt” option. From here, you can tell the service how you prefer to be called and your profession, for example. You can also detail the type of features you want Chatgpt to have, or you can choose one or more predefined options. Finally, there is a box that allows you to say essentially to Chatgpt what you want it to know about you outside your name and your occupation, so that you can give it information on your family, where you live, your interests, etc.

Memory

Even if you do not explicitly tell Chatgpt things about you via personalization options, you can make it heard on you while you chat with it, via the Memory function. Memory is essentially what it looks like: a list of things whose cat will be “will remember” you. It also includes your invites and past questions.

With the activated memory function, the so-called memories that Chatgpt stores will evolve and develop over time. Not only that, but the function will allow Chatgpt to refer to previous conversations so that you do not have to spell everything on you every time you start a new conversation. This is also useful if you often ask questions about the same subject.

To customize the memory function, go to the website and press your profile photo, then click “Settings”. Choose the “Personalization” option from the Settings menu. From there, you can switch to the recorded reference function and manage the memories that the service has recorded, in particular the deletion of individual memories if you wish. Recently, Openai has also added a new memory function which essentially allows Chatgpt to refer to all your previous conversations. It is an extended version of Memories that makes the functionality even more powerful, and you can switch it here.

Vocal mode

The vocal mode essentially allows you to have a conversation with chatgpt via voice instead of discussing. It is useful that when you are unable to type things or just want a faster conversation.

There is not a ton of settings to modify for the voice mode, but you can choose the voice you want Chatgpt to. To do this, head to the “Settings” menu, then click on the “Speech” option. From there, you can choose from a number of different voices and read a clip of these speaking voices as you wish.

Connectors

The connectors allow Chatgpt to access the information that would otherwise be locked behind a password. In other words, you can connect your Google to Chatgpt account so that it can read your emails, which allows it to answer questions about emails, create a summary of all non-read emails, etc. There are actually a number of different connectors that you can choose. In addition to your Gmail account, you can also log into Google Drive and Google Calendar, Dropbox, Email Outlook, Microsoft Teams, etc.

To connect to these accounts via connectors, head to the Settings menu, then click on the “Connectors” option. From there, you can connect to all the accounts you want Chatgpt to have access.

Tools

Chatgpt can use different features and tools on a cat’s cat base, and it is worth familiar with these tools so that you can select the best for the specific situation. The most basic option to choose is the large language model you want to use. Unfortunately, the choice of the right model is quite confusing, so unless you are familiar with the different models and the advantages and disadvantages they have, it is probably preferable to simply read the OPENAI recommendations under each model and to do your best to choose the best. You can choose from the different models in a new cat by pressing the drop -down menu at the top left of the screen, which is labeled with the model you are currently using.

The other tools you can use are available directly from the cat window. When you press the Little Tools button, you can choose for chatgpt to do things like creating an image, search on the web, write or perform in -depth search, which indicates the service to go through several steps to search for a particular subject. The cat window is also available in the cat window to record your prompt using the voice, which will then transcribe the text of the prompt or will enter into advanced vocal mode.
