In the United States, the problems of tenders in the middle of a bird flu epidemic pushed prices to record vertices and made stores difficult to keep the boxes stored on the shelves.

In a survey carried out by Numerator, a market study company, more than half of buyers said they had seen egg shortages or found them out of storage in stores, including BJ’s, Costco, Target , Trader Joe’s and Publix.
