EXCLUSIVE: The former founding partners of Slate PR, Stephen Huvane, Robin Baum, Simon Halls and Andy Gelb have formed a new concern, Apex Public Relations. The Complete Public Relations and Communications Agency begins immediately and follows a dissolution of partnerships occurred earlier this morning in Slate. Completely with Antos in Los Angeles and Manhattan, Apex has pursued the partnership that has existed through several iterations for more than 30 years.
“We are delighted to continue this amazing and long -standing partnership while we are launching Apex,” said the Braintrust in a press release. “We have the impression that we hit gold when we joined forces for the first time when, with all our individual forces that combined to make an extraordinarily consistent and successful team. We are impatient to continue this in this next exciting adventure. ”
The partners also unveiled a new board of directors of general partners, made up of guido Gotz, Lindsay Maguire, Scott Newman, Jennifer Plantte, Shawn Pardy and Megan Senior. The new council will be responsible for the daily management of the APEX and will be essential to establish the agenda of the company for future and long -term growth. The founders said: “We are delighted to welcome our new team of managers to help us manage the new business. While we turn to the future, we are very lucky to have some of the best young talents in the public relations industry by our side. ”
Huvane, Baum and Halls required new business cards several times in 31 years. They formed an agency under their own name in 1994, then in 2001 merged it with the power of PMK public relations to train PMK / HBH. Huvane, Baum and Halls have become general partners of this entity and simultaneously trained an alliance with the specialist in brands and events Andy Gelb at PMK / HBH. In 2010, the partners separated from PMK / HBH to train Slate Pr, which has just dissolved.
The vast majority of slate employees join Apex, as are the more than 500 partner customers.
